If you would like to attend the opera, you are welcome to come from 9pm where we will be releasing tickets at the door as they become available. “Melatu Uche Okorie has important things to say – and she does it quite brilliantly. Her language is arresting and inventive, and very entertaining.” - Writer Roddy Doyle
As audiences descend into the crypt of Christ Church Cathedral, they will be submerged into the overlapping sounds and messages of scenarios presented by a chorus and three pairings of singer and instrumentalist. By moving between the stories being played out simultaneously in the crypt, listeners will make their own sense of a troubling world that is known only to immigrants.
