INO Schools Programme
Bring Your School Group to Irish National Opera
At Irish National Opera, we welcome school groups to join us for a memorable experience at our productions throughout the season, all at a special rate.
Opera is a rich and cross-curricular art form that seamlessly weaves together music, theatre, visual arts, movement, history, politics, literature, and more to tell a captivating and cohesive story. It's a fantastic opportunity for students to explore multiple dimensions of the arts in one incredible performance.
Enhancing the Educational Experience
After the huge success of their inaugural INO Schools Programme that saw over 300 students attend workshops and performances of four different operas, Irish National Opera are delighted to announce that they will be continuing a reduced rate tickets + workshop deal for their 24/25 season. Before schools come to see the opera live, INO will provide a cross-curriculum workshop providing context to the piece to ensure students get the most out of their visit to the opera. A special resource pack for each production will also be provided to teachers, packed full of information, handy links, audio clips and activities to aid class-based discussion before seeing the show.
