INO Company Chorus Soprano Audition for the 2026/27 Season

Irish National Opera is advertising a place in its Company Chorus for a Soprano in the 2026/27 Season. 

INO COMPANY CHORUS 

The INO Company Chorus forms a crucial part of Irish National Opera’s artistic backbone. Its 16 members are engaged to perform across INO’s main-scale productions. The aim of the INO Company Chorus is to provide increased predictability and stability across engagements for singers as well as to build artistic and performance expertise within the company. 

We are currently looking to fill the following position in the INO Company Chorus for the 2026/27 season: 

  • 1 Soprano position 

INO Company Chorus members will be required to perform approximately 3 productions, equating to 19 weeks’ work across the 2026/27 season. INO Company Chorus members must reaudition every 2 years. 

How to Apply 

Sopranos who are interested in applying should complete the application form below by Friday 15 May, 5pm.  

APPLICATON FORM 

Singers who auditioned for INO Chorus or INO Studio in March 2026 will be considered for this opportunity, and may be invited to sing for the panel in a second-roundaudition.  

Only applicants who did not audition in March 2026 need to fill out the application form. 

Audition date: Wed 27 May 2026 

Location: Dublin City Centre 

Requirements 

  • Please present two arias of contrasting style in their original languages.
