Audio Described Performance for La bohème
An Audio Described performance of La bohème will take place on Sunday 26 November at 5:00pm for blind and visually impaired patrons.
Those availing of the service will be given a handheld device with headphones upon their arrival. A trained Audio Describer will deliver a live verbal commentary describing the performance, enabling users to know exactly what’s happening onstage throughout.
A touch tour is also available ahead of the performance on Sunday at 3:30pm. This will allow visually impaired audience members to familiarise themselves with the design of the opera, and the costumes and props ahead of the performance.
