Biography

Sarah Luttrell is a mezzo-soprano from Co. Laois. She has been a member of the Irish National Opera Company Chorus since 2024 and has performed the roles of Countess Ceprano in Verdi's Rigoletto and Mother in Puccini’s Madama Butterfly. Sarah is a former member of the Wexford Factory where she performed the roles of Zibaldona in Alma Deutscher’s Cinderella, Zita and La Ciesca in Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi and Zulma in Rossini’s L’italiana in Algeri. Other roles include Eithne in Alberto Caruso's Lady Gregory in America (Wexford Festival Opera), Third Lady in The Magic Flute (Clonter Opera), and Second Witch in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas at the Kammeroper Schloss Rheinsberg (Opera Collective Ireland). She is currently a member of the Opera Bridge programme in collaboration with Opera Collective Ireland and Musikkultur Rheinsberg and will return to Rheinsberg in July to perform as part of Kammeroper Schloss Rheinsberg.
