Saileóg is an award-winning Costume Designer based in Dublin working in film, theatre, television and street spectacle. Previously for Irish National Opera, she designed costumes for Evangelia Rigaki’s Old Ghosts. Recent theatre work includes The Maker and Hammam with ANU Productions and Abbey Theatre; and Tales from the Holywell and Not a Word for Bru Theatre. Recent film work includes Ancestors directed by David Turpin, September Says directed by Ariane Labed for Element Pictures, and Kathleen is Here directed by Eva Birthistle and produced by Treasure Entertainment. Recent television work includes Outlander Season 8, and Wheel of Time, Season 2 as assistant costume designer to Sharon Gilham. Saileóg is an Aer Lingus/Dublin Film Festival Discovery nominee, an Irish Times Irish Theatre Award nominee and a member of the ISSSD (Irish Society for Stage & Screen Designers). She was awarded the Discovery Award at Dublin International Film Festival in 2021 and is an Irish Times Irish Theatre Award nominee.
