Olha Palazhchenko
Biography
Olha Palazhchenko is a mezzo-soprano, born in Ukraine and currently based in Ireland. She studied at the Lviv National Music Academy named after Mykola Lysenko.
In the 2024/25 season she joined Irish National Opera as a member of the INO Chorus, appearing in productions such as Wagner’s The Flying Dutchman and Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amore. In July 2025 she performed as a guest mezzo-soprano with the members of the INO Studio in a nationwide tour of Music Magic & Mischief.
Earlier in her career, Olha appeared on various stages in Ukraine both as a chorister and as a soloist. In 2018 she participated in Riccardo Muti’s celebrated Le vie dell’Amicizia project, performing choral works including Verdi’s Nabucco, Stabat Mater, and Te Deum in a landmark concert on the country’s main square, broadcast as an event of national significance.
Her experience spans both opera and concert repertoire, and her versatile artistry continues to develop within Ireland’s vibrant musical scene.
