Biography

Born and raised in Dublin, Michael Mullen has been immersed in drama and performance from an early age. A graduate of Dublin’s vibrant theatre scene, his most recent stage credits include his role as James Nutt in The Devil Himself with AboutFACE Theatre company at the historic Smock Alley, and Orson Welles’s A Christmas Carol, where he reprised his role as beloved Hollywood actor Joseph Cotten. For Dublin’s Culture Night 2025, Michael took on the role of Jean in Miss Julie by August Strindberg, produced by the award winning Three Hot Whiskeys. Michael’s screen career began with the independent feature Blue Dawn, followed by a supporting role as Father Brennan in the comedy The Problem with People, directed by award-winning filmmaker Chris Cottam and starring Sheila Flitton, Colm Meaney, and Paul Reiser. Most recently, he completed work on the lead role in The Ginger Jesus, an upcoming feature set to be released in 2026.
