Biography

Canadian-Ukrainian conductor Keri-Lynn Wilson makes her first appearance with Irish National Opera this evening. She is founder and Music Director of the Ukrainian Freedom Orchestra, which has toured major cities and festivals of Europe and the United States in recent years. Keri-Lynn is also the Music Director of the Kyiv Camerata, Ukraine’s leading chamber orchestra. Her career as a conductor of opera and symphonic music includes appearances at many of the world’s leading opera houses and symphony orchestras. Opera companies she has most recently conducted are Royal Ballet and Opera London, Metropolitan Opera New York, Berlin Staatsoper, Paris Opéra and Deutsche Oper Berlin. Orchestras she has conducted recently include the New York Philharmonic Orchestra, NHK Symphony, Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, MDR Leipzig Radio Symphony Orchestra, and the Bruckner Orchester Linz.
