Emma is a British choreographer and movement director. After a successful career as a dancer in the West End and abroad, Emma worked as a choreographer, movement director and collaborator in Opera and Theatre. Emma was Associate Director for Vivaldi’s Bajazet for Irish National Opera and The Royal Ballet and Opera. Recent choreography credits include Verdi's Un Ballo in Maschera (Opernhaus Zürich), Wagner’s Tannhäuser (Theater Magdeburg), Verdi’s Il Trovatore, (RBO and Opernhaus Zürich), Handel’s Acis and Galatea and Judith Weir’s Blond Eckbert (Potsdamer Winteroper), Verdi’s Rigoletto (Welsh National Opera), Handel’s Semele (Glyndebourne), Handel’s Apollo e Dafne in 4/4 and Berenice (RBO), Mozart’s Così fan tutte (NI Opera) and A Night at the Opera (WNO and UK Tour.) Other movement credits include Redcliffe (Southwark Playhouse, Borough), Singin’ in the Rain (Manchester Royal Exchange), Beauty and the Beast (Palace Theatre, Newark) and Enron for Guildhall School of Music & Drama.
