Deirdre was a member of the Irish National Opera Studio from 2023-2025, during which she covered roles including Mimì in Puccini’s La bohème, Marguerite in Gounod’s Faust and Rosalinde in Johann Strauss II’s Die Fledermaus. She made her debut with INO as Giannetta in Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amore in a performance described as “sumptuous… never less than captivating” (The Arts Review). In 2024 she debuted at Wexford Festival Opera as Eileen O’Doherty in Alberto Caruso’s Lady Gregory in America. Deirdre was selected by the Veronica Dunne International Singing Competition to record ‘Song to the Moon’ from Dvořák’s Rusalka with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra for broadcast on RTÉ lyric fm. She made her concert debut with National Symphony Orchestra Ireland in the 2024 Summer Lunchtime Concert Series in the National Concert Hall. As winner of the 2024 Bernadette Greevy Bursary she gave her debut recital in the NCH in October 2025.
