Amy Ní Fhearraigh was a member of the Irish National Opera Studio in 2018–19 and made her INO debut in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro. With INO she has also appeared in Puccini’s Madama Butterfly, Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte, Evangelia Rigaki’s This Hostel Life, Humperdinck’s Hänsel und Gretel, Brian Irvine and Netia Jones’s Least Like the Other, David Coonan and Carys D. Her German debut as the Countess in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro marked the start of her relationship with Theater Magdeburg, where she joined the house ensemble for the 2024–25 season. Highlights there included Micaëla in Bizet’s Carmen, Liù in Puccini’s Turandot and The Queen in the world premiere of Gerald Barry’s Salome—a role she will reprise in its Irish premiere at New Music Dublin 2026. Forthcoming engagements include her Swiss debut as Mimì in Puccini’s La bohème (Theater Orchester Biel Solothurn, 2026) and returns to Ireland for two role debuts, including Donna Anna in Mozart’s Don Giovanni.
