Following the success of our first ‘In Focus’ event, Irish National Opera is delighted to announce ‘La Cenerentola in Focus’ in partnership with the Italian Institute of Culture. Join us for an afternoon of talk and music in which we explore this well-loved Rossini classic.
Director of the Royal Irish Academy of Music and Drama, Deborah Kelleher, will examine the work and its history to provide a wider context for audiences ahead of INO’s forthcoming performances at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre on the 10, 12, 14 & 16 November. We’ll hear live performances of excerpts of the opera and hear the thoughts of director, Orpha Phelan and designer Nicky Shaw in conversation with INO’s Studio and Outreach Producer, James Bingham on how this new production of the work was realised.
The event will last for approximately 1.5 hours, followed by a wine reception. Tickets are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.
