Celebrating the First Year of the INO Studio
Last month we had the honour of celebrating the work of the inaugural INO Studio with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra in front of a packed house at the National Concert Hall, Dublin.
Performing some of the repertoire's favourite arias, INO Studio singers Amy Ní Fhearraigh, Rachel Croash and Andrew Gavin, accompanied by the RTÉ CO under the baton of INO Studio conductor Sinead Hayes, brought the audience to their feet in a truly special evening of song. They were joined on the night by guest artists Carolyn Holt and Matthew Mannion and special guest William Thomas.
After the concert we were joined in the Carolan Room of the National Concert Hall by our Friends and Patrons, to toast the success of this year's studio and the artists. We’re very grateful to all our Friends and Patrons for their continued support. Not only does this support allow us to continue to programme a wealth of exciting new opera each year, it also helps to support the activities of the INO Studio and our ever growing outreach programme. If you’re not a Friend yet, and you’d like to learn more, don’t hesitate to reach out to our Head of Corporate Communications and Development, Sarah Freeman for more information.
Many thanks to everyone involved in last month's celebration. The RTÉ Concert Orchestra for their extraordinary playing, our INO Studio artists, our audiences and all of our supporters. And of course to the Arts Council, without whose support we would not be able to continue to do what we do.
